The Dr. Woods journey began with our signature Black Soap, a high-quality skin care product sourced worldwide but made right here in the United States. Raw black soap is a unique all-vegetable soap product, with its key ingredient derived from plantain skins, a highly renewable natural resource.

Another key ingredient in our products is shea butter, harvested from the nut of the Karite tree, indigenous to West Africa. Our organic, fair-trade shea butter is sourced specifically from the African Savannah.
